The 2020/21 crises (global pandemic, social injustice, digital 4.0, political bickering, and emotional malaise) require a reinvention of HR. HR reinvention requires changing the assumptions about human capabilities to focus less on activities and initiatives and more on outcomes and value created for key stakeholders. HR is not about HR, but about helping your business succeed in the marketplace. With these assumptions, HR’s unique human capability contributions in talent, leadership, organization and the HR department can be identified and improved. This session will give participants insights about both the assumptions to reinvent HR and the innovative contributions HR can make to business success. We will end with an Organization Guidance System tool that is FREE and anyone can access to determine where to prioritize human capability investments for impact.
